ABOUT ME
Amarachi Crystal Esowe is a Nigerian born, New York City raised visual artist, entrepreneur and all around creative. Art has been a part of Esowe's life since she could remember. Esowe was drawing, on folded paper into her Bible and at times would even doodle in her Bible if paper was not available.
Esowe went to Monroe Academy for Visual Art and Design in high school and at LaGuardia College, Esowe pursued a Liberal Arts: Social Science and Humanities where she also took various art courses to keep up with her creativity as she pursued a Psychology Degree.
Esowe has shown her art at restaurants and group galleries shows from Manhattan to Brooklyn. She produces and markets artwork that expresses a subtle but impressive form of protest. Her artwork softly focuses on Mental Health Awareness and highly focuses on Black Feminism and Women's Empowerment. Esowe creates graphic collages that illustrate a contemporary form of portraiture, showing the beauty and complexities of the Woman and the world around her.
